Yesterday, Michigan basketball snuck into the NCAA tournament with a First Four placement. In our Sports Monday column, Michigan hockey's seniors look to finally break their streak and head to the NCAA tournament as well. Michigan track and field senior Cindy Ofili's national title win helped lead the women's track and field team to a 6th-place NCAA finish. Here on campus, students partnered with law enforcement to discuss race relations, and Dance Marathon's annual VictorThon raised $475,807.05 for pediatric rehabilitation.

Students and law enforcement talk race relations at policing forum

The Black Student Union partnered with Students of Color of Rackham to host a day-long forum on local policing Saturday. Security officers and administrators from a variety of University of Michigan departments took part as well, representing the University’s Division of Public Security and Safety and the Ann Arbor Police Department.
