As Michigan moves on from relying on the basketball minds of Caris LeVert and Spike Albrecht, a perfectionist with great vision like Simpson will bring fresh ideas to a Wolverine backcourt looking for a change in identity.
LSA sophomore Caitlin Walrath was casually smoking a cigarette near the fountain behind the Michigan Union Tuesday night â an area the University of Michigan designates as âsmoke-free.â
Walrath was fully aware of the smoke-free policy when she lit her cigarette â after all, smoke-free campus stickers are pasted on trash cans around campus, literature on smoking cessation sits at the front of University Health Service and student ambassadors frequently hand out kits with tools and information about quitting to those they see violating the policy.
24 Hour Theatre is a project in which several plays are written, rehearsed and performed all within the span of a single planetary rotation, one evening to the next.
Both of these performance pieces deal with sexual assault, and more broadly, disclosure of trauma, female sexuality and the histories of violence that people bring with them when they arrive on campus.

On this day, 15 years ago, over 70,000 spectators watched the Michigan and Michigan State hockey game that ultimately resulted in a 3-3 tie. It is still known as one of the largest crowds to ever watch a hockey game.
