Wednesday night, the Michigan men's basketball team left Piscataway with a 68-64 win over Rutgers. The Michigan women's basketball will host their final home game of the season against Nebraska Thursday night. Reports of false hate crimes following November's election have spurred concern over campus safety. This season has not gone as expected for Michigan hockey forward Alex Kile. Finally, University medical professor Michelle Meade discussed ways to improve healthcare for individuals with disabilities in Mason Hall on Wednesday evening.

Two of three hate crimes reported in the week following the 2016 presidential election at the University of Michigan were recently determined to be falsely reported to the Ann Arbor Police Department, and updates have raised concerns about backlash for marginalized students.
Medical School Prof. Michelle Meade addressed common health and health-care disparities and how to promote positive changes to the current health-care system for disabled people Wednesday night in Mason Hall. The event, sponsored by the Interprofessional Health Student Organization, drew a crowd of about 20 students.
Meade directs programs for the University of Michiganâs Rehabilitation Engineering Program, developing health-management technologies for disabled individuals.Â
The senior forward entered the year with high expectations, yet things haven't played out the way he hoped they would.
Thursday night's game will be the final home contest for both Siera Thompson and Danielle Williams.
Theatre Performance: Dreamscape âAn Evening of Hip-Hop Theater and the Stageâ @ Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a talkback following the performance discussing which will explore the play, the context in which it was written, and need for the arts to play a role in addressing important sociopolitical issues that affect the University of Michigan and the nation.
