I know how many people send the same kind of email before their freshmen years. I know how many never show up. I donât fault them for it. I only feel bad that they donât even know what theyâre missing.
Dear subscribers,
Today, we have two SportsMonday columns reflecting on writing for the Daily's sports section. Friday night, 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty and Desiigner finished off 2017âs SpringFest to an enthusiastic student crowd. Leaders on campus reflect on the decline of protests since the election and inauguration of President Donald Trump. Finally, the Michigan softball team rallied for a victory against Maryland Sunday.
All the best,

Hip-hop artists 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty and Desiigner finished off 2017âs SpringFest to an enthusiastic student crowd Friday night at the Crisler Center. The trioâs performance marked the first student-run concert at the Crisler Center in 15 years when Phish performed thanks to a newly minted partnership between MUSIC Matters and Universal Music Group.

Iâve dreamed of writing here since I was 6 years old and went to sleep thinking about Michigan sports.
