Hi, what's the craic?

Listen, we can all appreciate the many biggest, boldest, longest and tallest attractions in Dubai. We're a hub of weird and wonderful world records and that's utterly class tbf.

But, for most of us, it's just a fun quirk that you can look out the window and see the Burj Khalifa standing tall regardless of where you are in the city. It doesn't actually change our day-to-day life.

And the same goes for Dubai Mall's impressive visitor record from the past year. It's cool to know but it's not life-changing.

This week it was revealed that Dubai is, once again, the cleanest city in the world. A feat all the more remarkable when you consider how the city is constantly under construction.

And, despite an ever-growing population, it's also been revealed that we're living in one of the safest cities in the world.

So, yes, while the ultra-cool mega-million dirham projects are nice to look at, what really matters when you're living in a city is how safe and clean you feel. Oh yeah, and it helps that it's also a super fun place to be.
