Dear Colleague,
Our hearts go out to all of you as we experience loss. Loss of loved ones, in the worst of cases, and loss of freedom of movement and association, more commonly.
And yet, because of these losses, and, in spite of these losses, our global esports community is demonstrating its unity and innovation. While stadiums might be closed, esports is having a moment as games and live streaming rise globally, providing competition, entertainment, and most importantly, connection. We are proud to serve a community that is doing so much good. Two of many such examples include the 12-hour Twitch Stream Aid benefitting the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, and Gamers Outreach, who provides accessibility to gaming through its GO Kart program to children who are now more isolated than ever in the hospitals.
Looking forward, we here at the Esports Business Summit (EBS) remain committed to providing you with the information and connections necessary to advance your business goals. Our annual Summit is scheduled for October 19th – 21st at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where we look forward to seeing all of you. Our Call for Speakers is open. If you would like to propose a topic for the conference and join our esteemed faculty, please click here.
Our EBS Board of Advisors plays a critical role in helping us shape the conference. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the four newest members of our 2020 Board of Advisors:
As you will recognize, they each bring a depth and diversity of experience to our community. We welcome them and thank them for their commitment to EBS. Complete board to be announced soon.
And last but certainly not least, our Tempest Awards are now open for entries! Each year the Tempest Awards shines a spotlight on the greatest innovations driving the business of esports. For consideration in this year’s awards, click here to enter.
On behalf of the EBS Team, stay safe and well,
Megan Kuczynski Managing Director Esports Business Summit
