Since HCA Healthcare acquired a majority share of Galen College of Nursing in 2020, it has expanded from a handful of campuses nationwide to 19, plus an online program.

For this week's lead story, I spoke with Sammie Mosier, senior executive vice president and chief nurse executive, about the health system’s supercharged approach to educating future nurses amid a national nursing shortage.
