Both repeatedly pushed back against Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen. What's happening: Romney is scheduled to be the featured guest at a March 14 fundraiser for Cheney at the home of Bobbie Kilberg, a well-connected Virginia Republican who lined up against Trump during his 2016 bid for the White House, according to an invitation seen by Reuters. Despite their differences with Trump, Romney and Cheney largely voted for his policies during his term in office.
