On January 31, the UK left the EU and will be transitioning over the next 11 months. Politicians and UK citizens alike have debated the economic impact of Brexit. The UK has been a hotbed for FinTech innovation, but what will this ultimately mean for the FinTech sector?

At this stage, it’s not very easy to predict the precise direction FinTech businesses in the UK will take after Brexit. There is a market indication that established companies may try to weather the storm. But, on the other hand, we may see a slowdown in investment or startups until the dust settles.
