Miss anything last week?
The most discussed teaser pitch last week was, as seems only appropriate, also the most hyperbolic -- the folks at the Oxford Club were fishing for subscribers by hinting at what they call 'the Greatest Investment of All Time' in a special kind of stock... and, more specifically, a particular investment that they think will generate overnight 212% returns for you. So what they heck are they talking about? Thinkolator answers here.
Everyone wishes they had bought Amazon 20 years ago and held on tight, so the appeal of a "next Amazon" teaser pitch is always pretty strong. This week we got such a pitch from Cabot Growth Investor, and they see this stock getting quick 50% gains and going on to more than double from there... so what's the stock, and what's the story? Just click here for that one.
Remember the "God Key?" We talked about it a little bit last year, when Jeff Brown was promising huge gains... but he has a new ad out now that updates this, with the urgency of some "FDA Anomaly" on February 27 that he thinks will generate 35,000% gains. Our answers for that teaser are here.
We started the week with a look at a Louis Navellier pitch, he's promoting "five times your money" by investing in "a stock that stops cancer" -- we're all for stopping cancer and, of course, for gigantic investment returns, so what's the real story behind that one? Thinkolator answers here.
And I closed things out with the Friday File for my favorite people, the fantastic Irregulars -- lots to talk about this week, including the big sum-up of my Annual Review, a couple little speculations and one value buy this week. You can see that Friday File here.
