There is an extended version of the album The Forest Is The Path out today with five new songs and a wonderful new version of This Is The Sound Of Your Voice by Will Reynolds on it.
The new version of This Is The Sound Of Your Voice by Will has been playing at the end of our shows as we leave the stage on our recent Euro/UK/Ireland tour.
We recorded the five new songs with Fraser T Smith in his amazing studio, the same place we recorded the first twelve songs on the album.
It was a joy to be back in with Fraser again and we had so much fun making the new songs.
We didn’t know at first if we were starting a new record or continuing the previous one but when we got in there and worked on them they seemed to fit perfectly with The Forest Is The Path so we wanted to keep them all together.
There will not be a vinyl version of all 18 songs as it would be a four piece vinyl and expensive for people to buy and for those of you that have the album already we didn’t want you to have to buy it again. So we have released a stand alone 6 song EP style vinyl so all the vinyl enthusiasts out there can have the songs on wax.
There is a CD version with all 18 should you want them all on the one place.
We really hope you like the new songs. Nathan, Johnny and myself are so excited to release out into the world today.
