The OBJ Watch finally ended on Thursday and it wasn't the outcome the Saints wanted or expected. After considering offers from several suitors, Odell Beckham Jr. elected to sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams, ending a whirlwind recruitment. The former Newman and LSU star considered the Saints, among others, after being released by the Cleveland Browns last week. As if the OBJ news wasn't bad enough, the Saints practiced Thursday for the second consecutive day without one of their best players because of an injury. Beat reporter Luke Johnson has the full injury report. When it rains, it pours, and the Saints had more bad news to report on Thursday, when they placed first-round draft pick, Payton Turner, on the injured reserve list. It doesn't necessarily mean the rookie defensive end is out for the season, but it does mean he's sidelined for at least three more games, beat reporter Amie Just reports. Not all the news was bad for the Saints on the injury front. Beat reporter Luke Johnson tells us about a veteran player who was activated for the first time this season. Columnist Rod Walker tells us why this Sunday's game means so much to Saints linebacker Demario Davis. Find out who Davis said was "the closest thing to Jesus" while growing up in Mississippi. And finally, Amie Just takes an early peak at the matchup between the Saints and Tennessee Titans and tells us who has the edge in the big game.
