Although most real estate writers use “manse” as a cutesy short form of “mansion,” we never do, because we know the real meaning: a clergyman’s house, usually Presbyterian. And this lovely old Greek Revival, built in 1830, formerly served as the home of the pastors of the First Presbyterian Church, also known as the Old Whalers’ Church.
