| | | | Hi there — did you know it's Giving Tuesday tomorrow?
After the excesses of Black Friday, Giving Tuesday is the time of year we dig deep to support causes we care about — like a free, safe and healthy internet.
Just like you, we believe the internet can and should be a source of good. But with its sinister algorithms and disturbing data practices, Big Tech has other ideas.
Here’s the thing though. Big Tech has deep pockets — but we've got millions of community members. If enough of us chip in today, we can seriously up our fight for a free and open internet for everyone that works for the common good.
We've run the figures and we need to raise $1.5 million by the end of this year to fund our fight for the internet in 2022. This Giving Tuesday, will you chip in to help make it happen? Together, we are fighting for an internet that is trustworthy, safe and open.
To get there, we’re exposing Big Tech's shady side, funding the next generation of innovators and ethical computer scientists, and empowering individuals and communities to reclaim our online spaces — for good.
Mozilla's independent voice is needed now more than ever. We are proudly non-profit, non-corporate and non-compromised — backed entirely by generous people like you.
So friend, can you chip in to fund the fight for a safer internet? It only takes 2 minutes: It's only by pulling together that we can keep the internet as a force for good. It’s great to have you with us in this fight.
Juan Barajas, Director, Partnerships, Mozilla
