The Giving Tuesday + Hanukkah mashup is coming

We’re less than three weeks away from Giving Tuesday, the world’s biggest day of generosity. Last year, more than 38 million Americans participated in this global day of giving, raising $2.47 billion in a single 24-hour period.

The Forward’s donor community was part of that movement — supporters like you showed up in record numbers, resulting in our most successful Giving Tuesday ever. Will you help us do it again?

This year, Giving Tuesday overlaps with Hanukkah, and at the Forward, we’re excited to celebrate them together with a special campaign.

Thanks to a generous donor, every donation made to the Forward during the holiday of Hanukkah will be matched up to a total of $25,000 — meaning your gift will have twice the impact. And on Giving Tuesday, which falls on the third night of Hanukkah, every gift we receive will be matched 2:1.

That’s right: one gift, double — and, on Giving Tuesday, triple! — the impact.

Last Giving Tuesday was one for the record books. This year, we know we can do even better. Mark your calendars for November 30: let’s start the countdown.
