For the first time since its creation, the organisation of the Jury will take place by videoconference due to the pandemic. Despite this constraint and other difficulties arising from the pandemic, Images Vevey considers it is more essential than ever to maintain its various creative grants, in view of the precariousness of artistic creation throughout the world.
A pre-jury of 17 international experts drew up a list of 80 final nominees selected from the 906 submissions received from 65 countries: 45 projects have been selected for the Grand Prix Images Vevey, worth CHF 40,000 to produce an original photographic project in one year, while 35 publication projects have been selected for the Images Vevey Book Award, worth CHF 10,000 to produce a photobook.
