On today’s show we talked politics and law. First, MPR News’ Michael Mulcahy was joined by two top leaders in the state Legislature to discuss their priorities for the final weeks of the session and how they’ll reach agreement on the state’s next two-year budget. Then, I spoke with MPR News reporter Jon Collins and editor Laura Yuen for an update on the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.

Police: Suspect arrested after child falls from MOA's 3rd floor

Bloomington police say a man who witnesses said may have pushed or threw a 5-year-old boy from the third floor of the Mall of America Friday has been arrested. The child has "significant injuries."
