The average medical resident salary in 2020 was $63,400, according to Medscape’s latest report on residents’ salaries and debt. This is up from the average salary of $61,200 reported in the 2019 report.
 

AMA: Opioid prescribing decreases for second consecutive year

According to the most recent progress report from the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Opioid Task Force, opioid prescribing decreased by 37.1% in 2019.
