How long does treatment take?
It depends on the type. If it involves an egg retrieval, fertilization, or implantation, it’s common to go through multiple rounds. That’s because, typically, only 70%–80% of eggs retrieved are viable, just 70- 80% of those viable eggs will fertilize, and only 50% of fertilized eggs make it to the stage where they’re ready for implantation.
