Dinner with the family was uneventful that night. Or it was until I heard a noise overhead and looked up, just in time to see cat kibble raining down on us. It landed in our hair, dotted our food plates, and splashed in our milk glasses. Then the kibble was quickly followed by an empty cat food dish, which hit the middle of the table upside down, and wobbled noisily to a stop. We all looked in the direction the kibble bomb came from, but we saw nothing, yet. Almost in unison, we said, "Suki!"

At the sound of her name, our mischievous Siamese cat raised her black silky head just high enough for us to see it over the edge of the catwalk. Being the generous souls that we are, we gave Suki the benefit of the doubt, and assumed this stunt was an accident. But whether it was intentional or not, Suki evidently liked the hoopla she caused, and that night would be the first of many kibble showers. (Keep reading)
