G'day,

Ada Guan is proof of the adage that it’s better late than never. She completed a $37m Series B raise for Sydney-based Rich Data Co earlier this year. It was a torturous process that took 12 months to complete, but she said it was necessary to accelerate the company’s global expansion.

It would seem that an annual trip to Bali is a far better investment than an office for Employment Hero, which last month flew more than 1100 people from about 20 countries to the party island for a catch up.

The List Top 100 Innovators is out this Friday, celebrating the nation's most innovative entrepreneurs. Pick up your copy in print via The Australian's newspaper or read more online.
