Get the most out of your next visit to one of our enclosed dog parks in Cockburn.
When using an enclosed dog park....
We currently have five enclosed dog parks in Cockburn, with more to come. Some are designed for all types of dogs, and others have separate areas for large and small dogs. The dog parks are popular amongst residents, so to ensure everyone gets the most out of their visit; we do ask that you follow a few basic rules, as outlined in our video.
Are your kids looking for a project that also benefits the community and other young people? Then get them to apply for a Cockburn Youth Fund Grant. The grants range between $100 - $400 and are for local young people to kickstart projects and events. Applicants must be 15-24 yrs old.
A big thank you to all who provided input into the draft design of the Omeo restroom and shade area. Over 1,300 people viewed the draft designs, with over 300 providing input via the website, drop-in sessions, one-on-one phone appointments, email and letters.
We are now reviewing all of the comments, which will feed into the final design. Construction of the new facility at Omeo Park in Port Coogee should commence in 2022.
