The latest on The 11th Oregon Summit

We’re reaching out today with an update about the Oregon Summit.

We remain committed to hosting an Oregon Summit in Central Oregon that is safe for attendees, speakers, and both Sunriver and DPO staff. The Oregon Summit is where Democrats come together and fully celebrate our shared Democratic values, toast the progressive policies that have made Oregon such a special place, and ramp up for the coming elections.

With that commitment guiding us, and given the current projections of the omicron wave here in Oregon and across the country, we are announcing that we are rescheduling the Oregon Summit: It will now be held from April 29th to May 1st.

We will be monitoring the public health situation closely, and are hopeful that by the end of April case and hospitalization rates will be at a place that will allow everyone to safely and comfortably take part in the incredibly special and unique experience that is the Oregon Summit.

We’d also like to use this opportunity to announce that the 13th Annual Wayne Morse Gala will be held on Saturday, August 6th, at the Hilton Portland Downtown.

The Wayne Morse Gala has been a virtual event for the past two years, and we’re so excited to have Democrats join us in person in Portland later this summer to kick off the last three months of our critical General Election campaign.

We are so grateful for your understanding as we work to navigate this difficult situation, and we hope we’ll see you at The 11th Oregon Summit from April 29th to May 1st, and at the 13th Annual Wayne Morse Gala on August 6th!
