As Britain continues to grapple with the coronavirus, one of the many unanswered questions is: what are the long-term effects of the disease? Laura Donnelly reports on how the hidden problem of "long Covid" could have an even greater impact than the death toll.
There had been rumours that Boris Johnson was still suffering the effects of his own battle with the coronavirus. He forcefully dismissed those suggestions yesterday. However, as Michael Deacon notes in his sketch, whatever the state of Mr Johnson’s health, the interview showed how much the Prime Minister has changed in just a year.
Sir David Attenborough may be 94, but his campaigning zeal is only growing stronger. Ahead of a new book and a Netflix film, he sat down with Jessamy Calkin to talk about the growing environmental consensus and why it has taken three decades for people to pay attention.
Finally, few areas are more ripe for a game of ‘What If?’ than the world of TV casting. Michael Hogan takes a look at the most extraordinary cases of what might have been on both big and small screens, including the lucky escapes (Sir Philip Green on The Apprentice), the lucky finds (Graham Norton and Paul Hollywood) and the unfortunate misses (Henry Cavill as James Bond).
