In 1925 the ‘Exposition internationale des Arts Décoratifs et industriels modernes’ opened its doors in Paris. The Pavillon Lalique was one of the most popular visitor attractions. René Lalique wowed all the critics with the magnificent design of the dining room located there. The flanks of the room were adorned with two imposing console tables made of solid marble, decorated with a delicate vine frieze. We have the pleasure to offer you one of these two pieces in the upcoming auction ‘Lalique only’ on 8 November.

Mit der prunkvollen Gestaltung des dort beherbergten Esszimmers begeisterte René Lalique alle Kritiker. Die Flanken des Raumes zierten zwei imposante Konsoltische aus massiven Marmor, verziert mit einem zarten Weinrankenfries. Eines dieser beiden Exemplare dürfen wir Ihnen am 8.
