Good morning, Marketer, and the wait-and-see game continues

The results from the latest MarTech Event Participation Index survey are in. While in-person attendees have been cautious, understandably, throughout the pandemic, they are looking forward to getting out more in 2023.

In the near term, a quarter of respondents said they were “extremely unlikely” to attend an in-person event in the remaining months of 2022. And there will be a role for virtual events to play moving forward, regardless of the health concerns. That’s because virtual events have evolved out of necessity, and they will continue to be valuable experiences that can be accessed remotely, saving on travel costs.
