Jannik Sinner defeated Nick Kyrgios on Tuesday and advanced to meet underdog Francisco Cerundolo. On Wednesday's quarterfinals match-up, Sinner retired due to foot blisters allowing Cerundolo to move on to the next round.
World No. 4 and Olympic Gold Medalist Alexander Zverev faced off against Casper Ruud Wednesday evening. Rudd overcame Zverev and will move on to face Cerundolo in the semifinals.
A legendary upcoming quarterfinals match will place defending men’s champion and World No. 10 Hubert Hurkacz against the reigning US Open champion and current World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev.

Naomi Osaka defeated Danielle Collins on Tuesday and will advance to meet Belinda Bencic in the semifinals. Bencic was victorious against Daria Saville in their quarterfinals match-up.
Paula Badosa ended 16 year old Linda Fruhvirtova's Miami Open run to reach the quarterfinals where she battled against World No. 28 Jessica Pegula. Pegula came out on top and will face-off against current World No. 2 Iga Swiatek. Swiatek defeated Petra Kvitova in the quarterfinals on Wednesday evening.
