A directorial departure hurts digital equity?

Elections are still at the top of mind as the final tallies for who's surviving Maryland's primaries come in today. Amid this, the city has quietly announced another major civic transition:

 

Jason Hardebeck has left his role as broadband and digital equity director. Moreover, the office he used to lead has been moved under the auspices of the Baltimore City Information & Technology office.
