As Americans, we will prosper with more freedom, not less.

In light of recent tragedies, I want to emphasize the importance of not letting fear cloud our reasoning and judgment. To protect ourselves from big government attacks on personal freedom, we must educate ourselves on the tactics they use to exploit our fear for power and control.

The progressive agenda is being carried out in force and only by keeping ourselves informed can we actively protect our liberty and personal freedoms from its controlling grip. Nelson Mandela said:

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

I want you to be confident knowing the why and the how that animate the sordid history of progressivism and the perils it presents to a free people. This information is vital to understanding the roots of progressive impulse, seeing it for what it is, and freeing yourself from it. To paraphrase a notable progressive known as FDR:

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”—and, might I add, the progressives who exploit it.
