The music museum concept is a step closer to reality

We've got a newsy morning for you. The biggest might from the Acadiana Center for the Arts and how its board selected an architect for the project of converting the old hardware store downtown next door into a music museum.

Moliere Chappuis Architects will lead the design of converting the old Lafayette Hardware Store, 121 W. Vermilion St., into the Louisiana Music Museum, ACA officials announced Monday.
