‘The future is here’: Intermountain launches drone delivery service, first of its kind in the West
Intermountain Healthcare and San Francisco-based company Zipline launched a new program to deliver prescription and over-the-counter medications to customers in the South Jordan area. For now, the program is only serving customers in South Jordan, but this is the first of its kind west of the Mississippi.
Just as the cost of borrowing money has skyrocketed due to ever-increasing interest rates, the U.S. Treasury released a report that the nation’s debt reached $31 trillion for the first time in American history.
The national deficit is on track to reduce to $1 trillion this year, but student loan debt relief and the rising cost of Medicare and Social Security will likely hit the 2023 budget, resulting in an increase in the deficit next year.
