You've made your list and checked it twice, the count down is almost over! The Ottawa Christmas Market presented by TD opens this weekend. Join us for our annual lighting of the Lansdowne Christmas Tree this Friday at 6:00 PM. Bring your friends and family down to experience the holiday spirit at the most magical event of the year!
Enjoy hot chocolate, cider, holiday treats, fire pits, and enough twinkly lights to brighten even the Grinch's spirits!

Lansdowne Christmas Tree Lighting
CTVs Matt Skube will be the holiday cheermeister for the Ottawa Christmas Market, officially launching the spirit of the holidays with the Tree Lighting taking place Friday at 6:00 PM.
Catch one of the most magical moments of the holiday season as the tree illuminates the entire Casino Lac-Leamy Plaza, alongside our canopy of lights, illuminated dcor, and signs!
The Outdoor Casino Lac-Leamy Stage Is Set
Live Music From Les Rats d'Swompe Opening Night!
Les Rats d'Swompe are proud French Canadians, brought together to introduce people to the sound of the traditional violin, the call and response songs and the musicality of yesteryear. Based in Ottawa, they are one of the few groups to bring Franco-Ontarian folklore to life. The band will take to the Casino Lac-Leamy stage at 6:30 PM!

Sensory Santa will be at Lansdowne this year. Sensory Santa is an opportunity for children with autism to visit Santa in a sensory friendly environment. With shorter lineups, no appointments to allow for flexibility, quieter music and a sensory friendly environment.
Visit Santa's Village
Santa Claus will return for in-person visits at his new home at the Ottawa Christmas Market.
From the warmth of his cabin and the comfort of his chair, Santa will welcome you to Santas Village where you can say hello to the big guy and take a photo with him.
Give the Gift of Christmas this Year with Toy Mountain
In partnership with CTV & MOVE 100s Toy Mountain, we will be collecting toy donations at the Ottawa Christmas Market benefiting The Salvation Army. Please bring* your toy donations throughout the duration of the Market to brighten a familys Christmas.
*We will have collection bins outside of Scholars and near the Info Booth.
