He had the stocky, muscular build of a Pit, but the long legs, golden coat, and black face of a Dane. He was a very odd-looking guy, with a bump on the top of his head that looked like someone had recently "beaned" him. We named him "Knothead." The original owner did not want him because he had no "killer instinct" whatsoever. The man wanted a big, mean "muscle dog" to show off to his friends. Knothead was a lover, not a fighter.
