Plus: Kansas City wins the Super Bowl, Utah teachers are one step closer to a pay raise and will Utah legalize “magic mushrooms”? 🍄
Good morning! Here’s today’s forecast: 🌤️ 2 – 21° in Logan 🌤️ 25 – 40° in Salt Lake City 🌥️ 31 – 55° in St. George | 💧 10% chance I think I need to explain myself: Although I am not a big “sportsball” fan, I do legitimately love the big sports events throughout the year. I particularly enjoy the Super Bowl for the following reasons: 🍖 The food: I love that we save all the most decadent, spicy and cheesy foods for the end of winter. 🎬 The ads: I’ve worked in marketing for years, so watching the ads during the Super Bowl is like a sport unto itself. 💃🏾 The entertainment: Rihanna’s halftime show was terrifying (I don’t like heights), but I love a show with a good production value. 👔 The fashion: I didn’t realize that sports announcers were such big fans of bold Glen plaids in loud colors, three-piece suits and double-breasted sport coats, but I did appreciate their sartorial boldness. 🏈 Goooooooo sports team! Tell me: What’s your favorite thing about watching the Super Bowl? Were you happy with the result? Looking for something? Anything related to the 2023 legislative session will have a bee emoji next to it. 👉 🐝 Also on our minds: The Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl, Utah teachers are one step closer to a pay raise and will Utah legalize “magic mushrooms”? 🍄 |
