GOD WILL RAISE UP A FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST
Eli was not faithful to raise his children up in the ways of the Lord. They brought shame to him and Israel. Therefore, God chose to remove his lineage from the high priesthood. Eliâs descendents were replaced with Zadok and his descendents, who will minister before Him in the future also. God takes very seriously the teaching of the next generation about Him.
