Prophecy Thread of Week 23

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary Definition of Truth:
Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies.

MESSIAH TO BE A PROPHET LIKE MOSES

Moses promised that God would send a prophet like him, putting God’s own words in His mouth. Jesus fulfilled this promise many times over in deed and in word. He demonstrated God’s love and power in healing and in teaching. Then He stated that He only said what the Father told him to say, and did only what the Father showed Him to do. Therefore, we too can be lead by the Spirit of God as stated in Romans 8:14.
