The publishing industry is changing, let me help you stay current | Seats are selling out—don’t miss this. |
| Hi there,
We’re only a few weeks away from one of my favorite duties as WD Publisher—hosting the Writer’s Digest Annual Conference. Every year, it’s an honor and pleasure to meet so many dedicated writers and to connect them with the resources to become even better.
That’s why if you haven’t yet signed up for the event, I’d urge you to do so now. Even though we’re moving venues—to the roomier Hilton Midtown—you’ll still want to join us while there are seats left (especially before rates go up onsite). Don’t forget to book your discounted room, too. We’ve got a lot waiting for you in New York that you won’t want to miss.
And the can’t-miss sessions I want to call your attention to are all about the publishing business—how it works, what you need to know and where it’s headed next. I’m bringing back a session I’ve presented in the past (with updated information you’ll want to hear) and Richard and Porter will be sharing their insights about the issues transforming our industry and the ways you can turn them into your own opportunities:
It’s nearly here. And it won’t be the same without you. For your career, for your craft—for the fun of it—I hope you’ll join me in New York this August 12-14!
