Prince William recently gave his very first TED Talk!
As the TED blog notes, the Duke of Cambridge recorded his talk (while sitting on a tree root in a park close to Windsow Castle) as part of Countdown, TED's climate initiative.
In his emotional speech, the duke asked us to take the climate crisis seriously and to create real, lasting change over the next 10 years.
"Over my grandmother’s lifetime, the last 90 years or so, our impact has accelerated so fast that our climate, oceans, air, nature and all that depends on them are in peril," the duke said.
"If we do not act in this decade, the damage that we have done will be irreversible and the effects felt not just by future generations, but by all of us alive today." |
