The question that divides Australia |
|
Could you name the country in which you live? And no, we don’t mean Australia. Could you identify the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander country, language group or community who are the traditional owners where you live? As part of the Australia Talks National Survey 2021 we asked Australians, and the results varied wildly across the nation. To round out NAIDOC week, see how your area fares when it comes to knowing your traditional owners -- and learn how to find yours. Or, meet some of Australia’s brightest Indigenous makers, thinkers and creators in our articles and audio below. Until next week, Annika Blau, RN digital editor Enjoy getting Radio National in your inbox? Forward to a friend so they can too! |
