Maya Lin-designed Tribeca mega-mansion to hit the market Posted: 25 Feb 2017 09:30 AM PST It’s been ridiculed for looking like a piece of Swiss cheese, but Maya Lin’s new Tribeca building is now set to hit the market as the largest mansion in the city. Last year, plans for the new single-family mansion at 11 Hubert Street were given the green light by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Fire hits Jacob’s Pickles building Posted: 25 Feb 2017 08:30 AM PST UPDATED, 6:42 p.m., Feb. 25: A fire broke out just after 6 p.m. yesterday on the third floor of 511 Amsterdam Avenue, between 84th and 85th streets. The blaze quickly spread to other apartments and the neighboring building at 509 Amsterdam Avenue. Five people were injured.
