Coming up this weekend
Saturday's live action begins at 11am (all times BST) with day two of the latest County Championship cricket round. It's also European club rugby's big day and we'll have all the latest from Leinster v Toulouse in the Champions Cup final at 2.45pm. Then strap in for a big 3pm double-bill: it's Manchester City v Manchester United in the FA Cup final, while Celtic take on Rangers in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden. There's no let-up at 5pm, when our attention switches to Bilbao and the Women's Champions League final between Barcelona and Lyon. And then it's the second men's T20 of the series between England and Pakistan at 6pm.

Another bumper day awaits on Sunday, when this year's French Open gets under way at 10am at Roland Garros. The County Championship cricket continues from 11am, while we'll also have over-by-over updates from the second women's ODI between England and Pakistan at 1pm. Then we speed off to Monte Carlo for live coverage of the F1 Monaco GP from 2pm. And we return to Wembley at 3pm, when Leeds and Southampton collide in the Championship playoff final, with a spot in the Premier League up for grabs.

… there is a good reason why not to support the Guardian

Not everyone can afford to pay for news right now. That is why we keep our journalism open for everyone to read. If this is you, please continue to read for free.

But if you are able to, then there are three good reasons to support us today.

1

Our quality, investigative journalism is a powerful force for scrutiny at a time when the rich and powerful are getting away with more and more

2

We are independent and have no billionaire owner telling us what to report, so your money directly powers our reporting

3

It doesn’t cost much, and takes less time than it took to read this message

Help power the Guardian’s journalism in this crucial year of news, whether with a small sum or a larger one. If you can, please support us on a monthly basis . It takes less than a minute to set up, and you can rest assured that you're making a big impact every single month in support of open, independent journalism. Thank you.
