The rise and fall of KFC in Lafayette

KFC, which made a big splash when one of the international chain's largest franchisees opened three locations in Lafayette roughly seven years ago, has now closed all of them.

The national brand quietly closed at 200 Kaliste Saloom Road and 3328 Ambassador Caffery Parkway after posting signs on the door. It also closed its location at 1007 East Main St. in New Iberia.
