About the evening:

We’ve faced the challenges of the pandemic and devastating fires that destroyed so many homes and businesses, but through it all, we’ve worked hard to protect democracy and elect leaders who are dedicated to lifting up our communities.

Now, it’s time to take an evening to celebrate and learn how we can win again in the upcoming Midterm elections.

Our keynote speaker for the evening will be Jane Kleeb, author of “Harvest the Vote-How Democrats Can WIN again in Rural America.”

Kleeb is an experienced grassroots organizer, manager, political strategist and nonprofit entrepreneur and the chair of the Democratic Party of Nebraska. Recently profiled by PBS in a film called “Blue Wind on a Red Prairie,” She is a leader who deeply understands the need to connect issues that rural and urban communities are facing to politics in order to win elections.

Leading the statewide healthcare reform project called Change That Works, Kleeb brought together grassroots advocates and allied groups such as the AARP and Nebraska Appleseed.

In 2010, Kleeb founded the grassroots group Bold Nebraska, leading farmers, ranchers and Native allies in an effort to stop the Keystone XL pipeline. Her organizing earned her the title “Keystone Killer” and she was featured in the NY Time Magazine. Bold Nebraska expanded into the national Bold Alliance focusing on protecting property rights, water, and the clean energy transition.

Jane Kleeb's presentation will inspire us as we gear up for upcoming Midterm elections.

We are planning for a COVID safe event and can't wait to see all our supporters in person for this important evening.

We will be raising funds for the upcoming Midterm election season and this will be our last major fundraiser before the Oregon primaries, so please don't miss it! ALL proceeds from this event will go towards our Build the Blue in 2022 fund and will be spent right here in Jackson County.

Thank you so much for your support!
