The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have ended one of their longest droughts in Super Rugby history, toppling the Crusaders for the first time since 2009, 31-24 at GIO Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
In a game that featured a little bit of everything, the Brumbies secured victory in the dying minutes of the match. Earlier, it was a double to Tom Wright and tries to Valentini and Muirhead, that saw the Brumbies secure a guaranteed top 4 finish in 2024.
The Brumbies will play their final home game at GIO Stadium of the regular season next Friday night, with place in the top 2 still very much on the cards. |
