The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have ended the regular season with a perfect home record, defeating the Melbourne Rebels at GIO Stadium on Friday night, 53-17.
In what has become a familiar sight for Brumbies fans at GIO Stadium in 2024, the Brumbies got off to another rapid start, racing out to an unassailable 34-3 lead at halftime. Despite having three men yellow-carded throughout the second half, another try scoring double to Tom Wright helped the Brumbies secure another victory on home turf.
The Brumbies will play their final regular season game in Perth next Saturday against the Force, with a top 2 finish on the line, pending victory and particular opposition results to go their way. |
