Closing churches: The Archdiocese of New Orleans has released the names of parishes where churches are going to be closed and parishes consolidated, the biggest shake-up of local Catholic churches since Hurricane Katrina. How to fight a wildfire: After a busy wildfire season that includes two swamp blazes that are still burning, Louisiana is coming to terms with the fact that its firefighters aren't properly trained for the job.
