Saints pay their tab: The last few days have seen the Superdome Commission and the New Orleans Saints dispute who's fault it was that the Saints organization was behind on millions of dollars in payments toward the ongoing renovation of the Caesars Superdome. On Friday, the team paid up to the tune of $11.4 million. What happened? Stephanie Riegel has the story.
Frat brawl: Members of two LSU fraternities got into a bar brawl last fall, the culmination of a simmering feud over thrown beer bottles, an injured golden retriever and thousands of dollars in frat house damage. In the end, Theta Xi was suspended, while Kappa Alpha was given a warning. Andrea Gallo combed through public records and has the details.
Memorial opens: The families of some of the 144 Louisiana residents who have died in combat since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks gathered Friday afternoon at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell to mark the unveiling of its new "Fallen Heroes Memorial." Bob Warren was there.
