Marissa Pho discovered her own power to create positive change when she participated in CUESA’s high school food education program, where she learned how to grow food for herself and her community. “It gave me a unique opportunity to understand the importance of healthy foods, and how we can affect the environment,” she says. “Global warming is upon us, and we need to change our ways of living.”
