The Mardi Gras maze: If you’ve been on some stretches of St. Charles Avenue in the past few days, you’ve no doubt noticed the barriers blocking part of the travel lane. The “orange-and-white obstacles” are there for added parade safety and will remain through Mardi Gras, Julia Guilbeau reports. Did someone say parades?
