Taylor Swift: It's finally Taylor Swift week in the Crescent City! In honor of the superstar's upcoming shows at the Dome, we have a look back at Swift's first gig in the New Orleans area more than 15 years ago. The concert itself was rained out, but Swift still hung around for hours to meet fans and sign thousands of autographs. Rich Collins has the story.
Unconstitutional? Louisiana's new law requiring public schools to post the Ten Commandments in every classroom will have its day in court today. Patrick Wall has the details.
Hybrid hotel: Third-generation real estate developer Sam Solomon is planning a hybrid hotel for the edge of the French Quarter. With several multi-bedroom suites boasting common areas and kitchenettes, the hotel would cater to groups who travel together for weddings, festivals and other events. But some neighbors, as Stephanie Riegel reports, aren't so excited about the idea.
